Mill City Farmers Market

Gittleman Management is a proud sponsor of The Mill City Farmers Market, located alongside the new Guthrie Theatre and the historic Mill City Museum. The market, which overlooks the Stone Arch Bridge along the Mississippi River, offers local, sustainable, and organic products. It also features live music, cooking demonstrations, and handmade items by local artisans. Join us in celebrating Minneapolis' revived waterfront district—part of our ongoing effort to support the communities we serve.

Lowertown: Rise of an Urban Village

Gittleman Management is a proud sponsor of TPT’s documentary Lowertown: the Rebirth of an Urban Village, which premiered in March. It’s part of our ongoing commmittment to making your community a better place to live. If you missed Lowertown on TV, don’t worry. You can stream it online at tpt.org.

It was the birthplace of St. Paul and the focal point of the railroad industry, built by the likes of James J. Hill that made St. Paul and Minnesota a key hub in America's rail system. Then it fell into decay and abandonment. How did Lowertown return to vibrancy in the last few decades of the twentieth century? With the backdrop of the Lowertown Redevelopment Corporation's persistent efforts to rebuild the neighborhood, the anthology of stories offers compelling models for community building. Feed My Starving Children

in 2010, Gittleman employees joined volunteers from Schoenfelder Painting to pack 12,744 meals, enough to feed 35 starving kids for an entire year, for Feed My Starving Children.

We would like to thank the folks at Feed My Starving Children for welcoming, training, and giving us this volunteer opportunity. I would also like to thank Schoenfelder Painting for organizing this event and for Tom, Nigel, and Rebecca, from Carlson and Associates and Henri from Stock Roofing for joining us.

We look forward to doing this again in the future and to giving others in the company the opportunity to donate a couple hours of company time as part of a corporate group to this gratifying and noble endeavor.
